In order to increase efficiency specialists of the JSC Pakhtasanoat Ilmiy Markazi carried out research and development works on improvement of the design of straight-flow single-drum fiber cleaner.
They have developed a two-section advanced fiber cleaner that provides an increase in the cleaning effect by reducing the chattering and vibration of the saw cylinder during rotation, while maintaining the required distance between the hole of the mote grates and the saw cylinder.
The improved fiber cleaner reduces the chattering and vibration of the saw cylinder during rotation, while maintaining the required distance between the hole of the mote grates and the saw cylinder and, as a result, increases the cleaning effect. The advanced fiber cleaner was installed in a line of ginning and fiber cleaning line at the Boz cotton ginnery (Andijan region). Test works were carried out. The results were compared with the data of the 1 VPU cleaner used in practice. Preliminary test results showed the cleaning effect of the advanced two-section fiber cleaner is 14% higher than in currently used fiber cleaner. At present, the test work continues. If the test results are positive, this advanced fiber cleaner will be recommended for use in other ginneries.
