On September 11, 2019, the 8th meeting of the Asian Cotton Research and Development Network completed its work. On the last day, presentations were made by geneticists
ICAC Executive Director Mr. Kai Hughes summarized the meeting results and praised the organization of the event.
The ICAC has nominated Mr. Tokhir Kuliev, Director General of the JSC Pakhtasanoat Ilmiy Markazi (Cotton Industry Science Center) for the position of the Chairman of the Asian Cotton Research and Development Network.
Based on the voting results, Mr. Tokhir Kuliev was unanimously elected as the Chairman of the Asian Cotton Research and Development Network for the next two year term.
