New automatic devices for determining the trash content and moisture of raw cotton are being introduced into production.Today, an increase in the number of farms that grow cotton requires an objective determination of the quality and quantity of raw cotton that is handed over, and making fair calculations. This requires use of cotton-receiving centers in laboratories, automatic devices that determine, without the human factor, the qualitative indicators of raw cotton taken, conduction of electronic quantification during processing and production of cotton products.
With this in mind, Pakhtasanoat Ilmiy Markazi JSC, as a result of the research, has developed new automated devices for determining the weeds and moisture of raw cotton.
In accordance with the annual research plan JSC Pakhtasanoat Ilmiy Markazi, based on the developed technical assignment for commercial prototype of the AVHS-01 device was manufactured at Telemetrik Instrument Engineering LLC to determine the moisture content of raw cotton.

The annual economic impact from the introduction of this new device at the cotton receiving station with an annual volume of 10 thousand tons is 94.2 million soums.
The LKM and LKM-2 devices currently used at the cotton receiving points of the industry for determining the trash content had been developed in the 1970s and 1980s and are morally obsolete.
As a result of the research work carried out at JSC Pakhtasanoat Ilmi Markazi, the technical requirements and flow chart of the automated device LKM-3 for determining cotton trash content were developed and, based on them, RIM KOLOSS Ltd. produced and carried out preliminary tests of the commercial prototype.
