SSV: Citizens are allowed not to wear masks outdoors
At the next meeting of the special commission of the Republic, issues of removing certain restrictions introduced earlier due to the decrease in the number of cases of coronavirus infection in our country are being considered.
In recent days, compared to January, the hospitalization of patients in the special Zangiota infectious disease hospitals No. 1 and 2, intended for the treatment of patients infected with the coronavirus, has decreased by 7 times.
In January 2022, the number of daily calls to the “103” emergency medical service was 34,000 across the country, while this number has increased to 20,000 in recent days. That is, it decreased by almost 1.5 times.
Today, the prevalence of the disease is 0.4. According to the experts of the World Health Organization, if this indicator is up to 1.0, it means that the situation is stable.
According to foreign media reports, most countries today recognize the coronavirus infection as an endemic disease and announce that they intend to cancel basic restrictions, even the mask-wearing order and the COVID-19 passports.
At the same time, European countries are proposing to strengthen the process of vaccination of the population.
It should be noted that the number of imported and locally produced vaccines for vaccination against COVID-19 is 53.7 million. forming a dose (7 types). Also, 18.1 mln. dose vaccine was produced.
❗️ Based on the above information, starting from March 1 of this year, citizens were allowed not to wear masks outdoors.
Also, in places where it is difficult to ensure the social distance of citizens due to the epidemic situation:
📌 on public transport,
📌 in large stores,
📌 in educational institutions,
📌 in state and non-state agencies,
It is recommended to wear a mask in mosques, theaters, cinemas, museums, art palaces, household service institutions and other crowded places.
The requirement for medical workers to wear masks in health facilities, regardless of whether they come into contact with people infected with the coronavirus, has been maintained.
