An on-site seminar was held on August 8, 2019 at the Baghdad pilot ginnery of the Cotton Industry Science Center.
The seminar addressed issues related to the implementation of the tasks arising from the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 3559 dated February 23, 1918 “On measures to radically improve the activities of Pakhtasanoat Ilmiy Markazi JSC” and the approved Road Map for its implementation, as well as on enforcement of decisions adopted at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated July 29, 2019 No. 03 /1-3276.
The seminar participants got acquainted with the progress of work carried out in the Baghdad experimental cotton ginnery and the state of implementation of new scientific developments of Cotton Industry Science Center at this enterprise.
The seminar was attended by representatives of Uzpakhtasanoat JSC, directors, chief engineers, electrical supervisors of the ginneries and pilot ginneries of the Cotton Industry Science Center, as well as chief engineers and energetics of ginneries the cotton-textile clusters of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The seminar was opened by the opening remarks of the Deputy Chairman of the Uzpakhtasanoat JSC Mr. Tursunov, who highlighted the main tasks of increasing the efficiency of the cotton industry in the republic and the urgent tasks of preparing ginneries and cotton receiving stations for the new season.
Director General of the Cotton Industry Science Center Mr. Tokhir Kuliev reported on the proposed services of the Scientific Center for improving the efficiency of the ginning enterprises that are part of the cotton-textile clusters of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Mr. Ilkhom Kulmatov, Deputy General Director of the Science Center, informed the participants of the seminar about new scientific developments introduced by Cotton Industry Science Center in the Baghdad pilot ginnery.
Mr. Erkabaev, specialist of the Cotton Industry Science Center, reported “On a new procedure for accepting raw cotton at cotton receiving centers introduced in the new season since 2018”.
During the seminar, scientists and specialists of the Science Center gave information and presented a number of new developments, technical devices and technologies.
Among them, the Chief research associate of the laboratory of ginning, lintering and pressing Dr. Sulaymanov reported “On the high-performance saw gin 8DP-90 developed in 2018, 5VP and 2VPM fiber cleaners and the results of their implementation”, the Chief research associate of the drying, cleaning and dust removal laboratory production processes Mr. Jamalov reported “On the work of new technical devices and technological developments for drying and cleaning cotton from small and large litter introduced in the Baghdad pilot ginnery”; Researcher at the Laboratory for Automation of Production Processes and Labor Protection Mr. Karimov reported on “highly efficient and energy-saving devices and systems implemented in the Baghdad pilot ginnery”.
Directors and engineering and technical staff of a number of ginneries also expressed their opinions on various issues.
