On August 15, 2018 the Seminar dedicated to the development of joint cooperation between representatives of the cotton ginning enterprises of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan was held at JSC “Pakhtasanoat Ilmiy Markazi” (PIM).
The delegation of Kazakhstan, consisting of 15 heads and specialists from several enterprises of the cotton ginning industry, took part in the seminar.
At the beginning of the seminar the guests got acquainted with new developments and equipment in laboratories of PIM.
The seminar was opened with an introductory speech by Mr. Tokhir Kuliev, the Director General of PIM.
The Chairman of the Board of JSC “Uzpakhtasanoat” Mr. Alisher Maksudov spoke about the current state and perspective directions of the development of the cotton ginning industry in Uzbekistan. Along with this, he mentioned the effectiveness of joint cooperation between cotton ginneries of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan in the future.
Chairman of the Association of Legal Entities of “Kazakh Cotton Association” Mr. Baktibaev praised the successes achieved in the cotton ginning industry of Uzbekistan and development of bilateral partnership. Along with this, he expressed hope for assistance in retraining personnel, in the introduction of new equipment and technologies, in the supply of spare and components, and sowing seeds.
Head of the Center for Advanced Training of PIM, Doctor of Technical Sciences Mr. K. Zhumaniyazov made a presentation “On the work being carried out in the Scientific Center for the Improvement of the Qualification of the Cotton Ginning Industry Workers.”
Mr. Ivan Surkov, Director General of the Russian Company “Reliability of Heavy Machines” (Moscow), provided information on repairing presses of ginneries directly on the ground with the use of modern technologies.
At the end of the event participants exchanged views on the issues of mutual interest.
Later, the delegation of representatives of the cotton ginning enterprises of Kazakhstan visited the “Tashkhlopkomash” Enterprise, where they got acquainted with equipment manufacturing process for the cotton ginning industry.
At the end of the seminar, guests visited the Buka Experimental cotton ginning plant. Here they were shown a number of new developments introduced into production. Among them, electronic weight and new instruments for determining humidity, weed, and the grade of raw cotton, which attracted interest of Kazakh partners. They also got acquainted with cyclone improvement, site improvements, as well as planting trees to improve the ecological situation.
Guests expressed great interest in the automation of production processes, as well as the use of a new rotary type pilot machine.
At the end of the event the guests expressed their gratitude for the organization of this seminar and noted the interest in further development of mutual cooperation.
